Adam White, L.Ac., Dipl.Ac., M.T.C.M. received his Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (M.T.C.M.) from Five Branches University where he has served as a faculty member and as an administrator.  He studied Qi Gong at the Chang Ching Institute under the auspices of Professor Wae Shui.  He is a National Diplomate of Acupuncture and is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist through the Medical Board of California.  Adam White, L.Ac. is the CEO of the Healthcare Medicine Institute (HealthCMI). HealthCMI publishes educational materials for acupuncture CEUs and translates traditional Chinese medicine texts for licensed acupuncturists.

For over 25 years, I have successfully treated patients with acupuncture and herbal medicine in Santa Cruz. I use both traditional and modern approaches to Chinese medicine to provide the fastest and most effective relief possible. Patients are often surprised to find that acupuncture treatments are comfortable, relaxing and often provide immediate relief from pain and suffering. Patients with back, neck, shoulder and knee pain often see results very quickly. Patients suffering from headaches, migraines, stress and nausea also get rapid results. Many conditions take under two weeks to see significant results. This applies to the treatment of hot flashes, night sweats, acid reflux and severe disc degeneration related pain. Allergy sufferers get relief with acupuncture but often require herbal medicine to supplement the acupuncture care.
